Jenny McCarthy Cuts Long Hair, Debuts Bob: Pictures

New year, new ‘do! Jenny McCarthy debuted a new haircut on The View Monday, Jan. 6. The 41-year-old cohost teased she was going to chop off her long blonde locks on Twitter, and she ended up going through with it.

“Hair cut,” she captioned a Jan. 5 photo of a hairstylist holding a pair of scissors to her wet locks. “Should I go short or short short or short short short?”

The following day, she showed off the final product. “Turn on #theview,” she tweeted. “Let me know if you like my haircut. #chopped.”

For those who couldn’t watch her on the ABC talk show, McCarthy later shared a selfie on Twitter showing her fans the stylish bob she got. “Glad u like the chop!” she wrote. “Thanks!” In the snapshot from The View set, McCarthy looks glam with a chin-length haircut, stylish in soft curls framing her face.

On The View, the TV host revealed that she also removed her long hair extensions to get the new look. “I did this hairdo, by the way, because I was tired of having the extensions,” she said. “I wanted to feel a little more authentic this year.”
