Soap opera star Matthew Cowles died at age 69 on Thursday, May 22. Cowles was married to Good Wife actress Christine Baranski for more than 30 years.  A two-time Daytime Emmy nominee, Cowles was best known for his role as Billy Clyde Tuggle on the soap opera All My Children.  His manager Tsu Tsu Stanton tweeted about the loss on May 23, writing, "#Matthew Cowles passed away on 5/22.I had the pleasure of being his manager.

Out with the old. Miranda Lambert has shuttered her bed-and-breakfast in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where she lived during her four-year marriage to Blake Shelton. According to the Ladysmith bed-and-breakfast’s website, the establishment closed because it is “under new management.” The boutique hotel — which housed eight uniquely decorated guest rooms and a large ballroom for events — opened its doors in September 2014. The website doesn’t provide any further details on its reopening, and the “White Liar” singer has yet to comment about selling the Ladysmith’s historic 1901 brownstone.
